Extended Range Instructor
In the TDI Extended Range Instructor Course, the instructor candidate will receive training in the proper techniques, equipment requirements and hazards of extended range diving to depths of up to 55 metres/180 feet, while utilizing nitrox mixtures and oxygen for staged decompression. Topics that candidates may be asked to present include:
- Kit set-up
- Equipment requirements
- Decompression techniques
- Decompression breathing gases
- Lift bag / DSMB deployment
- Decompression tables
