Scuba Instructor Trainer Workshop Hurghada, Red Sea, Egypt

EgyptInternational Training, parent company of Scuba Diving International™, Technical Diving International™ and Emergency Response Diving International™ conducted an Instructor Training Workshop in Hurghada, Egypt along with the regional office SDI™ TDI™ Middle East in March. Hosted at SDI™ TDI™ dive center Divers Lodge, the ITW included participants from Egypt, Poland, Russia and Ukraine. While the program was conducted in English, simultaneous translation into Russian, Polish and German was accomplished with interpreters.

“This was truly a multi-lingual course,” stated Steve Moore of International Training’s training department who conducted the program. Moore added, “Much of the success of the program was a direct result of the organizational skills of the regional office.”

The Instructor Trainer Rating is International Training’s highest teaching level, and the program focuses on development of evaluation techniques in the classroom, confined water and open water. Presentation ability and skill demonstrations at instructor trainer quality are also assessed throughout the program.

Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may teach instructor level courses for all approved SDI™, TDI™ and ERDI™ levels, including conducting the IEC portion of the SDI Open Water SCUBA Diver Instructor Course. The course is intense and challenging but very rewarding.
