There may come a time when you need to get directly involved in saving someone else’s life. Knowing what to do, and how to do it without missing a beat comes from learning the skills and continuous training and repetition. The CPROX1st AED course is a straight forward no nonsense approach to teaching you, as the first responder to an emergency, how to handle the situation. The course is Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Oxygen administration combined into one program. You will learn how to use what is at your disposal to treat and stabilize victims until medically trained professionals arrive. Subjects that are covered included;
- Scene assessment
- O2 administration
- Stabilizing a victim
- Using materials that are on hand to respond to injuries
- Administering proper CPR
The CPROX1st AED Manual is the text-book literary assistant to the CPROX1st AED certification course. This course will forever change the way you respond to emergencies. It has been developed from the ground up to integrate the four most important life saving skill sets into one fun, practical, and easy to remember course. Common Sense Lifesaving is intended to provide potential rescuers, regardless of background, with an intuitive, common sense approach to helping victim(s) of an emergency.
Using the CPROX1st AED Manual as a reference, students may utilize the Knowledge Quest Work Booklet by answering the provided questions with the most appropriate and accurate answers. The Knowledge Quest is designed to be used as an assessment for enrolled students and their respective instructors.
