About Michael
Started my underground journey as a young child with my father caving across the UK, started diving in 1987 and in 1992 started cave diving with the cave diving group in UK I am now the Training officer Somerset CDG. I first started teaching with TDI in 1996 whilst working on the Drager Atlantis SCR project. In 2015 after a fatal incident of a diver in a flooded mine in North Wales I was asked to start teaching cave diving for TDI in the UK adding some of the hard won skills from experience to the standards of modern day cave diver training. I use the same skill and knowledge basis on all technical diver training, from basic Nitrox via full cave to CCR. Planning to Fail well.
