What is Cave Camp?

Cave Camp is a series of programs specifically designed to teach divers how to safely conduct cavern and cave dives.  The Cave Camp curriculum is divided into three intensive five day programs.

Cave Camp is divided into three levels. Each level is a five day, intensive program designed to produce exceptional divers and far exceeds the training agencies minimum certification requirements. Our instructs will assist you in becoming the best cave diver you can be; however participants must understand that certifications are earned, not purchased. Certifications will only be awarded once the student demonstrates skill proficiency and a proper attitude.

Cost:

The cost for each cave camp level is $995 USD.

Included:

* 5 days of instruction

* All training materials

* Rental cylinders

* 5 nights lodging at Hydro Lodge (www.hydrolodge.com)

* High definition video of dives

Not Included:

* Breathing gases

* Transportation to Cave Camp and to dive sites

* Rental equipment other than cylinders

* Meals

* Certification agency processing fees ($25 – $30 per level achieved)

 

Cave Camp Level I

Prerequisites:

* Minimum age of 18

* Minimum certification level of SDI Open Water Diver or equivalent

* Minimum of 25 logged dives

Course Overview:

Cave Camp Level I is designed to introduce divers to the world of cave diving. Divers of all skill levels are welcome; however experience with double cylinders is highly recommended. During this five day program, divers have the ability to earn the following certifications: TDI Intro to Tech, Cavern Diver, and Introductory Cave Diver. Cave Camp Level II

Prerequisites:

* Minimum age of 18

* Minimum certification level of Introductory Cave Diver

Course Overview:

Cave Camp Level II focuses on developing the skills and knowledge necessary to safely complete full cave dives. During this five day program, students may conduct jumps, gaps, circuits, and traverses. Upon completion, divers have the ability to earn the Full Cave Diver certification. Cave Camp Level III

Prerequisites:

* Minimum age of 18

* Minimum certification level of Full Cave Diver or equivalent

* Minimum of 50 logged non-training full cave dives

Course Overview:

Cave Camp Level III is for certified and experienced full cave divers who would like to take their training to the next level. During this five day program divers will learn to utilize sidemounted cylinders, DPVs and stage cylinders to reach previously inaccessible passages.
