VIP Visual Inspection Procedures Course

VIP Student Course
The VIP course will be offered in Las Vegas during the DEMA Show. This is the perfect class for anyone that handles or works with high pressure cylinders. Class covers all types of cylinders; steel, composite, aluminum as well as valves and an overview of compressors. Three year certification meets and/or exceeds all standards set forth by hazmat and governing agencies that oversee cylinders. More VIP Course info and sign-up form here.

VIP Instructor Course
Instructor candidates attend the full day course Thursday, November 17 (8am-6pm) and then return Friday, November 18 for instructor only session from 8am-noon. The instructor class will be held at:

Embassy Suites Convention Center – Las Vegas
3600 Paradise Rd., Las Vegas, NV

Prerequisites for Instructor Course:

  • 21 years of age
  • Affiliated with an organization with a high pressure compressor and / or fill station
  • Proof of inspecting cylinders for a minimum of 6 months after completing formalized training
  • Have proof of having inspected at least 50 cylinders
  • Proof of current and active instructor rating with a recognized training agency

Advanced Thread w/Eddy Current Class
The ONLY AUTHORIZED Visual Plus 3 training course. AIT, the developer of the Visual Plus 3, has endorsed this program for proper training of their instrument.

Our Advanced Thread inspection course takes an inspectors basic knowledge of cylinder inspections and focuses solely on the thread area. The course covers the types of cracks and their causes. The course then uses advanced tools to properly identify cracks versus tap stop marks. Finally, the course concludes by confirming the cracks and locations using the AIT Visual Plus 3 eddy current instrument. This course will be offered on Friday, November 18th from 3-6pm at:
