Come visit ERDI at FDIC International Tradeshow 04/27/17

Is Your Dive Team Prepared?

Come find out at FDIC.  We are at booth #2743

ERDI is the only fully insured agency offering standardized training for Public Safety Professionals

Emergency Response Diving International (ERDI) is the Public Safety diving (PSD) agency that trains Fire, Police and other public safety organizations in Search and Rescue techniques in just about every submerged environment known. ERDI trains departments on how to make and maintain their own PSD teams along with being the only Public Safety diving training agency that has their own insurance that endorses its own standards. All ERDI programs are OSHA and NFPA compliant. In fact, some of the largest successful and renown departments use ERDI Programs to conduct their training.

NFPA 1006 and NFPA 1670 standards must be followed

During all open water training an ERDI Supervisor, Instructor, or Instructor Trainer will be present and equipped to respond to any in-water emergencies at all times. Throughout in-water training NFPA 1006 and NFPA 1670 standards will be followed; for those regions not governed by NFPA, any regulatory or legal requirements that apply to professional and/or volunteer public safety and emergency response divers will be honored.

MissionCaster and VideoRay

This is an example of a test we did on 5 January 2015 using a VideoRay ROV. The Ground Control Unit was connected to a MissionCaster on the dock while the operator used the VideoRay ROV to navigate submerged objects in a quarry in North Carolina. The map on the right shows the geographic area of the dive. This dive was observed live from remote locations in Virginia and California. The video you see here is the archive video of this exercise as it was stored in the Amazon Cloud in the Ashburn, Virginia data center.
