SDI/TDI/ERDI Brings Tim Wagner to the Team to Manage the Southwest and Hawaii Regions.
Tim Wagner is joining SDI/TDI/ERDI as the Southwest/Hawaii Regional Manager. Having overseen client acquisition and sales teams in the past and possessing a strong knowledge of the dive industry, Tim will focus on cultivating relationships with dive center operators and fostering new retail partnerships.
Before joining the SDI/TDI/ERDI team, Tim built relationships with media conglomerates like CBS, Infinity Radio, and Yahoo! as the Director of Strategic Alliances for jobs.com, and he managed a sales and recruitment team for a national search firm in North Dallas before moving into dive retail operations. Tim has taught scuba for nearly two decades and spent several years in dive retail management. For the last four years, Tim has been consulting 200+ dive retailers in the Western US, Hawaii, and Micronesia for Poseidon Diving Systems on matters related to training, retail growth, and business expansion.
Cris Merz, Vice President of Sales for the Americas stated, “We are extremely excited to have Tim join our sales force to cover the Southwest and Hawaii regions. He brings a lot of great experience to our group and is extremely familiar with our industry from a retailers stand point. Because he has been on the other side of the counter he knows what they need, what they are looking for, and this allows us to sync up better with our member’s needs in those regions.”
Tim is a Master Instructor, Technical, and CCR diver who teaches more than 30 diving specialties. He has been married to Tonya for 18 years and lives in Southern California with their four boys.
