Sales & Business Development Operations Manager
Scuba Diving International (SDI) is hiring a Sales & Business Development Operations Manager who is a dynamic, organized professional with a passion for driving sales and streamlining operations.
By directly supporting the VP of Business Development, the position combines strategic oversight with hands-on administrative execution, from managing calendars and drafting correspondence to analyzing sales performance and optimizing budgets.
Please note, the position is in-house in our Stuart, Florida office.

Job Objective
Drive sales growth and optimize business operations by managing a sales group, overseeing budgets, and leveraging business administration expertise.
Responsibilities
Work directly with the VP of Business Development:
- Manage Calendar
- Draft Correspondences
- Edit of written content
Sales Management:
- Lead and motivate a sales group to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the VP of Business Development
- Organize and conduct annual sales meetings and events
Business Operations:
- Manage and optimize departmental budgets, including expense tracking and reporting via QuickBooks
- Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Draft and edit business correspondence and presentations
- Prepare meeting agendas, record meeting minutes, and distribute action items
- Track project progress and provide regular status updates
- Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot
Business Administration:
- Apply business administration principles to improve operational efficiency and sales performance
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies
Team Collaboration:
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment
- Interact effectively with all company employees and departments
- Experience working with different cultures
Skills Required
- Proven sales management experience, including leading and motivating a sales team
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management and QuickBooks proficiency
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suites
- Experience with CRM tools
Nice to Have
- Business ownership experience
- Passion for water activities
- Comfort with a dog-friendly office
- Bilingual (Spanish) or multilingual
- Experience as a Grant Writer is a plus
