Sales & Business Development Operations Manager

Scuba Diving International (SDI) is hiring a Sales & Business Development Operations Manager who is a dynamic, organized professional with a passion for driving sales and streamlining operations.

By directly supporting the VP of Business Development, the position combines strategic oversight with hands-on administrative execution, from managing calendars and drafting correspondence to analyzing sales performance and optimizing budgets.

Please note, the position is in-house in our Stuart, Florida office.

Job Objective

Drive sales growth and optimize business operations by managing a sales group, overseeing budgets, and leveraging business administration expertise.

Responsibilities

Work directly with the VP of Business Development:

  • Manage Calendar
  • Draft Correspondences
  • Edit of written content

Sales Management: 

  • Lead and motivate a sales group to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the VP of Business Development
  • Organize and conduct annual sales meetings and events

Business Operations: 

  • Manage and optimize departmental budgets, including expense tracking and reporting via QuickBooks
  • Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
  • Draft and edit business correspondence and presentations
  • Prepare meeting agendas, record meeting minutes, and distribute action items
  • Track project progress and provide regular status updates
  • Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot

Business Administration: 

  • Apply business administration principles to improve operational efficiency and sales performance
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies

Team Collaboration:

  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment
  • Interact effectively with all company employees and departments
  • Experience working with different cultures

Skills Required

  • Proven sales management experience, including leading and motivating a sales team
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management and QuickBooks proficiency
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suites
  • Experience with CRM tools

Nice to Have

  • Business ownership experience
  • Passion for water activities
  • Comfort with a dog-friendly office
  • Bilingual (Spanish) or multilingual
  • Experience as a Grant Writer is a plus
