Join TDI for WreckFest 2008, in Key Largo
In 2007, Silent World organized the very first WreckFest: a celebration of the wrecks of the Upper Keys, for like-minded wreckaholics to explore some of the best dive sites that North America has to offer. This year, the event is going to be even bigger and better, and TDI will be sponsoring two days of diving plus opening up opportunities for instructor upgrades and diver training programs.
WreckFest will run for nine days from August 2 to 10, at Silent World Dive Center and there will be TDI instructor-trainers on hand to run various diver and instructor-level programs including Intro-to-Tech, Advanced Nitrox, Decompression Procedures, and Advanced Wreck programs.
Of course the event is also open to any SDI or TDI instructors who want to run training programs for their customers in the Key Largo area and enjoy the support of our five-star training facility in the area.
The dive sites will include the Spiegel Grove, Duane and Bibb among others for the recreational advanced divers, plus the Northern Light and Queen of Nassau for the more technically experienced. New sites introduced to the schedule will be the Doc DeMilly and Hugos April Fool in Biscayne National Park. Evening events will be hosted by the various manufacturers and training agencies. There will be pool equipment demos to participate in for those attending the event, as well as gear giveaways, and opportunities to find out more about rebreathers, technical diving and technical training.
