John Conway Joins International Training Team for Southern Florida

August 14th – Topsham, Maine

John Conway has become the new addition to the SDI/TDI/ERDI training agency as the new regional manager for Southern Florida.

John Conway, an active diver for over 25 years, began diving along the coast of New Jersey. His diving experience has taken him to numerous locations around the world which has afforded him the opportunity to dive in a variety of environments and settings including under ice, inside shipwrecks, and along coral reefs. Conway has held instructor and/or instructor-trainer ratings with all the major training agencies and has teaching experience that ranges from open water sport diving through closed circuit technical diving.

“John is definitely a great addition to our team,” commented David Burroughs, Vice-President of SDI/TDI/ERDI’s sales and marketing department. “In addition to being a highly trained and experienced diver, John has a wealth of retail experience because of his background in the industry not only as an instructor, but as a store owner as well.”  Conway previously owned and operated a 3000 sq ft retail dive store with a staff of 14 Dive master and Instructors.

“Boat Captain, dive instructor and former dive shop owner, John Conway will provide the Southern Florida area with all the support it needs as the liaison between International Training’s Headquarters in Maine and the SDI/TDI/ERDI dive facilities and centers in the area,” added Burroughs.

John Conway currently resides in NE Florida and can be reached at
