International Training hits seven figures

International Training to issue 1 millionth certification this summer

Looks like early this summer, we will have something big to celebrate: International Training will issue its one millionth diver certification sometime in June or July. Who knows, it may be one of your certifications that puts our organization into seven figures!

“We are approaching a really exciting moment in our company history,” says Brian Carney, president of International Training.  “Reaching our one millionth customer will be a major milestone, and is proof positive that International Training and our SDI, TDI and ERDI brands offer a great product and are backed by great people, who have made a strong commitment to give divers the kind of training experience they deserve.

”Based on current certifications flowing into Headquarters here in Maine,” explains Carney. “Projections are that our one millionth certification will be issued sometime towards the last week of June or beginning of July. We cannot be sure whether the big number will be a cert for and SDI, TDI or ERDI diver but several of our executive team and the Chairman of our Board of Directors will be on hand for the occasion. All I can tell you is we are pumped.”

Carney explains that there is a surprise in store for the lucky diver and his instructor. “As part of the celebration, our one millionth diver and the certifying instructor will be given some very special gifts thanks to the generosity of several leading equipment manufacturers. Prizes will include dive equipment, including a computer and backplate and wing.

“Now we just have to wait and watch the counter tick off the last few numbers!”
