Message from Scuba Diving International™(SDI), Technical Diving International™(TDI), Emergency Response Diving International™(ERDI) about our company’s “Green Policy”
First and foremost we are divers, just like you. The success of our business is primarily based on promoting safe and enjoyable adventures underwater through structured education. Through many thousands of professional-level members, 24 regional offices around the globe and tens of thousands associate members; we conduct our chosen activities in every type of aquatic ecosystem, from the equator to the poles and back again. Because of this rather unique position, we are constantly reminded of the impacts we have on marine biology and its environment, both negative and positive.
Scuba Diving International™, Technical Diving International™ and Emergency Response Diving International™, our associate companies (such as Bolus Publishing and Diving Adventure Magazine) endorse and promote minimum impact diving practices through Education, Awareness, and Thoughtful Execution. We are firm believers in leaving nothing but bubbles and taking nothing but photos.
As a group of companies, we have adopted a paperless business practice in our workday tasks, and make extensive use of electronic document management and storage whenever possible. Many of our publications are available in Adobe Acrobat files (pdf) only and we are working towards publishing our entire library of diver education materials in paperless / electronic versions.
Many of our courses are made available on line as part of our efforts to minimize our impact on our earth and its waters.
In addition, our company strives to purchase office products and supplies that contain post consumer recycled materials, and has a strong recycling program.
Please help us preserve the unique underwater world for future generations of divers to come.
Dive Green with Scuba Diving International™ (SDI), Technical Diving International™ (TDI), Emergency Response Diving International™ (ERDI).
