OTHER BTS NEWS: TDI and BTS host Tech/Wreck Party to kick-off New Jersey, March Show

Beneath The Sea and Technical Diving International are pleased to announce they will be working together to make the Annual Beneath the Sea Tech/Wreck party a spectacular social event for the popular consumer dive show.

BTS has been the Big Event for divers in the North Eastern States and Eastern Canada for years, and has always been a sort of Home Event for SDI TDI because of its head office location in central Maine. That association has been reinforced for the 2011, March 25, 26, 27 Secaucus, NJ Show with TDI taking on Associate Sponsorship for the Friday, evening party.

The Wreck/Tech Party will begin at 9pm immediately following the Technical Diving Conference.

“BTS is an important show for many of our professional members and dive centers as it is for us,” said Nestor Palmero, spokesperson for TDI and member of the agency’s board of Directors. “But most of all, it is hugely popular with divers and we believe that formalizing our continued support, input and association with the folks who run BTS will help our customers get more out of their diving.”

Palmero added that as Associate Sponsor of the party, and as an active participant in the Tech Diving Conference, The Public Safety Diver’s Seminar (to be held Friday afternoon), and the BTS show itself as an exhibitor, and presenter of several workshops, TDI, SDI and ERDI is continuing its work to promote safe diving practices to the diving community and promoting its members

“Our interests in BTS and in other consumer shows is part of the mandate we have to work with all sectors of the dive industry to underscore diver safety, informed responsibility, and get good solid information out to the average diver. We look forward to seeing all divers, technical or otherwise, in March at the Wreck/Tech Party and at the show. And please watch for more news during the coming weeks concerning other SDI/TDI/ERDI planed initiatives for this show and others in North America and overseas.”
