Rebreather Forum 4

The Rebreather Forum 4 is a gathering of diving enthusiasts, experts, and professionals who are interested in rebreathers, a diving apparatus that recycles breathing gas. The next Rebreather Forum 4 (RF4) will be held in Valletta, Malta from April 20-22, 2023. This symposium is a significant event in the diving community. The conference aims to advance and consolidate the diving community’s knowledge of rebreather technology and its use by technical, government and scientific divers, with the goal of improving rebreather diving safety and performance. Organized by Michael Menduno, the event attracts divers, manufacturers, trainers, and regulators from around the world.

RF4 will be divided into several sessions, each focusing on a specific topic related to rebreathers. Some of the sessions will cover safety, training, and diving accidents. The conference will also feature presentations from leading experts in the field, who will discuss the latest technology, research, and development related to rebreathers.

Meet Our Expert – Sean Harrison

Technical Diving International’s Senior Vice President, Sean Harrison, will be presenting. Technical Diving International (TDI) is one of the largest technical organizations in the world.

As a long-time scuba diver and an avid outdoorsman, Sean enjoys a lot of activities nearly all of which involve being outdoors. At the office, Sean deals with almost everything from training, RSTC, Insurance, and everything else that involves company relations with other agencies, manufacturers and the industry as a whole. During most of his off days when not at the beach with his sons, you can find Sean enjoying kayak fishing, canoeing, cycling and walks through local parks introducing his kids to the outdoors and helping them identify the flora and fauna. “I have been fortunate enough to live and travel around the world and one day will be able to take my sons to some exotic destinations.”

Sean is scheduled to present on Closed Circuit Rebreathers (CCR) training on Friday, 21 April.  The complete program is outlined on the Forums website: https://rebreatherforum.tech/program/.
