About Steven
Steven Barsky worked as a commercial oilfield diver from 1976-1983 in the North Sea and Gulf of Mexico. He worked full time for several diving equipment manufacturers in marketing and technical support from 1983-1989. From 1989 until 2014 Steven ran his own consulting business for the sport and commercial diving industries. He wrote diving textbooks, did underwater and topside photography, produced videos, created marketing materials, and investigated diving accidents until he retired. An avid hunter, Steven enjoys spending as much time as possible in the outdoors, and also participates in hiking and camping.
