About Richard

Richard Devanney is a technical diving instructor currently working in Norway and Antarctica. He runs https://thetechnicaldiver.com – an information resource for technical divers. He has taught technical diving in Truk Lagoon, Indonesia, Thailand, and Iceland, and managed the rebreather diving on a superyacht. He particularly enjoys rebreather diving, wrecks, and learning more about decompression theory and diving physiology. He also owns a sailboat, into which, money must be continually thrown.
